Improving your life comes through improving your Self. A major way to improve the self for the remainder of this Lifetime is through study. After graduating college or high school most people believe they never have to see the inside of a book again. As a result of this discontinued search and appreciation of knowledge and learning, there is often evidence of emotional, intellectual and even spiritual stagnation and atrophy. It is as if some people literally stunt their soul-growth by giving up on the search for Truth and knowledge. These are the folks who stay happily in the same job and same position for decades without ever advancing in skill, position, or pay. These are the grown folks who have more drama in their romantic relationships than teenagers. These are the people you hear telling stories of their high school football days when they are old enough to father or grand-father high schoolers. They're stuck!
You do not have to be one of these people! I urge you to turn within to your Inner Counselor for direction on the types of books to read whether it be Psychics, metaphysics, self-help, business, philosophy, religion, finance, health, history, biology, horticulture or public speaking-- it does not matter. Your Inner Guide will direct you to the proper resources for you. Then, taking anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour a day to begin studying will transform the way your think, reason, feel, perceive and interpret life, events, circumstances, the past, your future, other people and your Self.
The benefits of developing a study life in which you literally take your education into your own hands and develop your Self from within are limitless. If you ever doubt the power of developing a passion for mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, and physical growth and expansion through study think of some of the great people who have lived and know that they have been avid students of life and various literature.
Some of the most powerful people who have ever lived (to name a few I personally love) are Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes, Malcolm X, Tupac, Bob Marley, Napoleon Hill, Ernest Holmes, Marilyn Monroe and more. These few great souls read books and more than a couple of them wrote some incredible books (or had books written about them) that must not be overlooked by the serious student of life and love.
